Key Responsibilities:

1. Mutual Fund Research and Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth research on mutual funds, financial products, and fund houses to identify the best investment opportunities

  • Perform category-wise fund reviews, comparisons, and detailed analysis of market risk.
  • Prepare model portfolios based on client risk appetite, financial goals, and investment horizon.

2. Portfolio Construction and Review

  • Design and maintain model portfolios for different client categories such as Conservative, Moderate, and Aggressive Investors.
  • Continuously monitor and review client portfolios based on market changes, fund performance, and investor goals.
  • Identify rebalancing opportunities for clients to enhance portfolio returns and minimize risk.
  • Provide fact sheet analysis, NAV reports, and fund performance reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.

3. Market Trend Analysis

  • Track financial market trends, economic updates, RBI policy changes, SEBI guidelines, and international financial events impacting investments.
  • Provide timely reports and presentations on key market trends and their potential impact on mutual funds.
  • Prepare and circulate market outlook and investment strategy reports for internal teams and clients

4. Research-Driven Value Addition

  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to Relationship Managers (RMs) based on thorough market research.
  • Suggest fund switches, redemption, or investment continuation based on fund performance analysis.
  • Continuously explore new investment products to enhance client financial planning.

5. Research Documentation and Report Preparation

  • Prepare detailed fund factsheets, investment reports, and fund house reviews.
  • Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports of all recommended mutual funds.
  • Create category-wise mutual fund comparison reports and client performance reports.

6. Client Financial Planning Support

  • Collaborate with Financial Planners to generate customized financial plans for clients.
  • Assist in analyzing clients' risk profiles and financial goals to recommend the most suitable investment options.
  • Ensure alignment of client investment portfolios with their financial goals and life stage.

7. Competitor and Product Analysis

  • Regularly monitor competitor mutual funds, NFOs (New Fund Offers), and other financial products.
  • Provide comparative analysis reports on product performance, charges, and asset allocation.
  • Identify emerging mutual fund categories and recommend them if suitable for clients.

8. Regulatory Compliance and Research Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, AMFI guidelines, and internal investment policies.
  • Provide regulatory updates impacting mutual funds and client portfolios.
  • Document and maintain research findings, market updates, and investment strategies in a structured manner

9. Reporting and Presentation

  • Prepare detailed investment reports, fund house presentations, and market update presentations.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Educational Qualifications:
